We had a very enjoyable stay in Salen just off all parts of what is quite a large island, and island. Rooms were extremely spacious and cosy with 1 queen-size bed and 2 single beds.

Kitchen essentials like a microwave, kettle, and fridges were available 🍳. We found it convenient during our stay.

This place has a perfect and excellent location, close to all parts of the island, with lovely overall design and free wake-up service.

The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for our backpacking needs. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of a Spar and coffee shops. The large bathroom was a nice bonus, and the entry area made it easy to dry off after rainy adventures. We were grateful for the central heating and ample parking. The location was ideal, with easy access to all parts of the island. The friendly owner went above and beyond, offering us a lift to a nearby restaurant and helping us plan a future trip. The apartment was tidy and had everything we could have wished for.

Did not want to leave there - I would go back in flash. In total, it was a great weekend. Rooms were excellent and cosy and I could use a microwave oven, a stone fireplace and central heating. The bathroom with a bathtub was a bonus. The host was always available.

It's a really comfortable place to stay and a great choice for exploring the local tourist attractions.

Stayed at a well-presented apartment in a great location. The Old School in Salen was warm and cosy, with all the necessary amenities and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. The apartment had a spacious entrance porch, perfect for drying wet coats or towels, and a small fridge with a thoughtful touch of fresh milk provided. The convenience of a nearby shop and places to eat made it easy to stock up and enjoy meals out. It served as an excellent base for exploring Mull's attractions and was even suitable for families with a small child, as there was enough space for a travel cot.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Old School in Salen! The apartment was spacious, clean, and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and having a washing machine and dishwasher was a bonus. The location was perfect, with a 2-minute walk to a large grocery store and ample parking nearby. Salen is a great base for exploring the island, with Tobermory and Craignure just a short drive away. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
